Environmental Protection

The environmental officers at RATIONAL AG proactively control environmental protection policy throughout the Group. The efficiency of our award-winning production processes guarantees a low level of reject and waste products. The object of our Research and Development activity is to supply our customers with products which also offer the maximum possible benefit in respect of economic and ecological efficiency. We carry out continual analyses of environmental compatibility and minimum possible product energy and raw materials consumption.

• Resources saved by using Combi-steamers instead of traditional appliances:

- cuts requisite kitchen space (floor space) by 30%

- energy requirement cut by 60%

- water consumption cut by 40%

• The Calk-Diagnose-System CDS© gives the steam generator regular mechanical descaling, thus reducing by a factor of 10 the chemical descaling still required.
