You remain blissfully unaffected by the delays that are typical of such events, as the dishes do not go to Finishing® until just before they are needed and are then ready for serving on hot plates. Stress-free, with no additional staff required, and regardless of whether you need a few dozen or several thousand plates at the same time.

The special RATIONAL mobile plate racks can each hold up to 120 plates with a maximum diameter of 12 inch. The very low height of less than 5.30 ft and the free accessibility on all sides allow them to be loaded and unloaded quickly and safely. They are also safe and easy to transport given the narrow construction and the particularly large and quiet-running tandem castors. You remain under control even when crossing thresholds or floor-mounted cables.

The RATIONAL Thermocover gives you even greater flexibility in terms of time – either for Finishing® several hundred more plates or for transporting them to the point of service. Under the protection of the Thermocover you can “hot park” all the food for up to 20 minutes.

The mobile plate rack also makes work easier in hospitals and nursing homes where residents need to be offered different diets quickly and efficiently. The plates are arranged cold with the different types of food and stored in suitably-marked mobile plate racks. They are then brought up to serving temperature and served at the same time with Finishing®.
