Finishing® – a new dimension to food preparation. Even huge banquets are now child’s play.
Finishing® allows you to prepare food to perfection in a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere – whether it’s 20 or thousands of meals. The precooked food is arranged cold on the plates and kept ready in the special mobile plate racks. Shortly before serving, the food is finished in just a few minutes in the RATIONAL unit, giving you the necessary flexibility to take typical banqueting delays in stride.
The narrow design and oversized, quiet tandem casters make it easier to transport food. The food can be held for up to 20 minutes with the RATIONAL Thermocover. You then have enough time to finish other mobile plate racks and move them to the service point.

The Finishing® system contains all the important accessories needed to start using Finishing® immediately and is more cost effective than ordering by component. Finishing® systems for banquet, model 61, 101, 62 and 102 consisting of: mobile plate rack, Thermocover and transport trolley (only in conjunction with the run-in rail for mobile oven racks, see page 17 and 19 – ordered separately). |
Mobile plate rack (plate size up to 12 1/4")

Up to 120 plates can be completed at the same time with Finishing® on mobile plate racks. As they are freely accessible from all sides and are low in height, the plates can be loaded and unloaded quickly and ergonomically. The narrow design and oversized, quiet castors make the plates easy to move around, even on bumpy floors. |
Thermocover
|
Special insulating materials ensure that your food can be held and kept hot for up to 20 minutes after Finishing®. The Thermocover is easy to clean. It folds together and requires very little space for storage. |
Run-in rail for mobile oven rack
|
You will need a run-in rail in order to use mobile oven racks with RATIONAL unit models 61, 62, 101 and 102. |
Transport trolley for mobile oven rack
|
These highly stable RATIONAL transport trolleys which are designed for maximum loads are ideal for easy loading and unloading of mobile oven racks. |
Transport trolley with Thermocover for Combi-Duo
|
The combination of “height-adjustable transport trolley" and “bottom Thermocover" was specially developed for Finishing® with RATIONAL Combi-Duo units. Simply select the right mobile plate rack and the Thermocover for the top unit and your optimum Finishing® package is complete. |
