The RATIONAL safety versions can be individually Customized to suit your specific safety needs. They are used in prisons, for example, to prevent deliberate damage or to prevent them being misused to perpetrate violence against other people. Features range from the lockable control panel and cooking cabinet doors, via the protective door grille through to the mobile oven rack handles that can be lowered.
The safety versions are available as an option for all SelfCookingCenter® whitefficiency® and CombiMaster® Plus units.

Protective door grid

The exterior glass of the cooking cabinet door is protected against willfull breakage by a solid stainless steel grid. The visibility of food in the cooking cabinet is unrestricted. |
Core temperature probe
|
The core temperature probe is made without the metal tip (no needle) and is fixed inside the cooking cabinet. It is impossible to use the probe as a weapon |
Mobile oven rack with retractable handle (floor units only)
|
The handle for the mobile oven rack is permanently mounted, and once inserted in the cooking cabinet can be retracted underneath the trolley. It is impossible to misuse the handle as a weapon. |
KitchenManagement System (optional):

Remote control for the SelfCookingCenter® whitefficiency® - To prevent misuse, the SelfCookingCenter® whitefficiency® can be remote-controlled using the KitchenManagement System . With CombiLink® SelfCookingCenter® whitefficiency® units can also be switched off and access can be barred remotely. CombiLink® can also be used to document HACCP data and to create cooking programs and recipes on the computer. |
