Toasties, a quick serve food establishment launched since 2014. Toasties at a glance One will probably notice the outlets for its long queues during peak hours. It offers a variety of 6-inch or foot-long toasted subs made from scratch at the front counter. Each sandwich is packed with an appetizing selection of ingredients and sauces. Not enough? Try the wrap, pizza, cheesy wedges or buffalo drumlets.

To complete a wholesome meal, simply add on some sides, salad or clam chowder soup. All food served is halal, certified by MUIS. “We aim to offer our customers a range of quality halal food, emphasis on freshness and continuously introduce new flavours to entice our customers such as chicken katsu, and seasonal chili crab for Chinese New Year festive”, mentions Ms. Atwell Lim, Director of Toasties.

“During my training in a sandwich shop, I observed a market demand for halal food and availability of halal sandwich stores is limited and close to none. This niche inspired me to start this business. A significant milestone for Toasties is achieving halal certification; all food handling adheres to the compliance. In the kitchen, we only have the RATIONAL unit that supports the halal food production perfectly, overcoming challenges of traditional appliances”, explains Ms. Lim.

Our bread is freshly baked daily. In just 1m2 space, we handle the whole food operation effectively. This gives us more seating capacity”, says Ms. Lim.
