Compliance.

As an internationally active company with a tradition that now spans almost fifty years, RATIONAL enjoys an excellent reputation as a business partner. We have achieved this by always pursuing our primary corporate goal of offering our customers the highest possible benefit in every respect.

Compliance with all globally applicable laws and adherence to internationally and nationally recognised standards of conduct as well as ethical conduct are a matter of course for us as a company and for our employees. Respect for human rights and the fight against corruption and bribery are an essential part of this. By acting with integrity, openness and honesty towards all our business partners and stakeholders, we secure our position as a reliable partner making cooperation with us more attractive. This also avoids legal disputes and fines.
The primary compliance objective at RATIONAL is to uphold our values by complying with all relevant statutory regulations and internal requirements, therefore also protecting the company and its executive bodies. The RATIONAL compliance management system is therefore geared towards avoiding any breaches of rules that may entail significant disadvantages for the company and its employees due to criminal liability, civil liability or loss of reputation. These include aspects relevant to criminal law, such as bribery and corruption, as well as human rights aspects, such as child or slave labour.
