Our contribution to sustainability begins right from product development. All iCombi Pro models are ENERGY STAR certified. ENERGY STAR is one of the few globally recognized certifications for high-energy efficiency, certified by independent institutes. We also work in close collaboration with universities to find solutions that save on resources.
Our commitment is reflected in our environmentally certified production; energy-efficient sales logistics; intelligent, low-energy, efficient buildings; regularly reviewed eco-audit according to DIN ISO 14001; and our return and recycling program for our old appliances.
This makes RATIONAL a pioneer in sustainability for our entire industry.

Our multi-functional cooking appliances contribute enormously to reducing the energy and resource footprint in industrial kitchens. This is underpinned by the project commissioned by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences:
