Hailam Kopitiam is a traditional coffee shop in a contemporary setting. The cafe’s interior is designed to reflect a typical Kopitiam with added the coziness of air-conditioning, spacious seating and a clean environment. People gather and connect here to create what we call beautiful noises.
Patrons can indulge in a selection of nostalgic delights such as Hailam special roasted coffee, home-made kaya with toasted bread and half-boiled eggs. Popular Hainanese chicken chop and fish fillet are prepared as in colonial times. Mee soup, mee goreng and of course, the all-time favourite, Hainanese chicken rice are available as well.
The recipes, unique flavours and distinct tastes have been passed down from generations, since the set up of Foh Heong Kopitiam by the original Hainans as far back as 1936.
