As an international company with a 50-year tradition, RATIONAL enjoys an excellent reputation as a business partner. We have achieved this by consistently pursuing our overriding corporate goal of delivering the highest possible value to our customers, wherever they are.
Compliance with all applicable laws and adherence to internationally recognised standards of conduct as well as ethical conduct are a matter of course for us as a company and for our employees. Respect for human rights and the fight against corruption and bribery are an essential part of this. By acting with integrity, openness and honesty towards all our business partners and stakeholders, we position ourselves as a trusted partner making cooperation with us more attractive. With a binding Code of Conduct, we want to demonstrate both internally and externally the self-image and values that guide us.
Correct and lawful conduct is a top priority for the RATIONAL Group. Integrity and adherence to rules are part of our identity and are key components of our business activities. So that RATIONAL is able to better meet this requirement, it is important for us to learn about potential misconduct within or outside the RATIONAL Group at any time to allow us to remedy it. The reporting and complaints platform we have introduced provides a way to report any breaches of the rules. This system is available to all employees, suppliers, customers and other parties affected by our business activities. The reporting platform enables smooth, data protection-compliant communication between whistleblowers and those responsible within the RATIONAL Group - even completely anonymously, if desired.
Each report is checked. Every report is treated confidentially and we guarantee every whistleblower that they will not suffer any personal disadvantage. For accused persons, the presumption of innocence applies until the violation can be clearly proven. Investigations are conducted with the utmost confidentiality by our independent compliance organisation. Further information on our complaints procedure in accordance with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) can be found in our procedural regulations.
