Monday 25th March.

Rehan Uddin – 11:30am.

Rehan Uddin, a seasoned Asian Expert Chef and entrepreneur with 25+ years of culinary expertise, founded Torquay's Indi-Yang restaurant, celebrated for inventive flavours.

As an Ambassador for RATIONAL UK, his journey serves as inspiration for aspiring chefs and business owners, emphasizing the value of healthy ingredients and positive cooking techniques.

Also serving as Managing Director of the Asian Restaurant Owners Network (ARON), Rehan shares knowledge in branding, marketing, and consultancy. Passionate about promoting gut health through Ayurvedic principles, he inspires others to nourish the body and mind. In his multifaceted role as an Asian Expert Chef, restaurateur, and mentor, Rehan Uddin has emerged as a respected figure in the food industry.

Tom Barnes – 1:30pm

Cumbrian-born chef Tom Barnes boasts a career in Michelin-starred kitchens. Joining Simon Rogan's L'Enclume in 2011, Tom swiftly rose to head chef, contributing to its second Michelin star in 2013. At 25, he secured the Roux Scholarship, training at Hof Van Cleve in Belgium and Restaurant Geranium in Copenhagen.

Returning as head chef at Rogan & Co in 2018, the restaurant earned its first Michelin star within six months. Tom also excelled on BBC2's Great British Menu in 2020, winning the final banquet's main course.

Tom went on to support the Umbel Restaurant Group as executive chef and has travelled extensively, creating popup events and experiences at restaurants such as Royal Ascot and Hywel Griffith’s Beach House in Wales, as well as at festivals such as Wilderness and The Big Feastival.

He will open his first solo restaurant, Skof, in Manchester in Spring 2024.

Tuesday 26th March.

Holly Charnock – 2:30pm.

Holly Charnock, Head Chef at Woodlands Primary School, began her journey in the culinary industry a decade ago.

In 2019, she led a triumphant team to victory in the McDougalls Young Baking Team of the Year competition, setting a record with a top score of 98/100.

This success saw Holly win the School Chef Of The Year (SCOTY) competition in 2021. Since then, she has gone from strength to strength, showcasing her commitment to transforming school meals. From cooking in German schools to addressing expert panels and catering for MPs in the House of Commons, Holly’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. As a RATIONAL UK Ambassador, she eagerly shares experiences and knowledge, embodying the joy of her culinary adventures.

Wednesday 27th March

Simon Rogan MBE – 11:30am.

RATIONAL UK Ambassador and renowned chef Simon Rogan MBE, a pioneer of the farm-to-table movement, opened his debut restaurant L’Enclume in Cartmel in 2002.

2022 marked L'Enclume’s 20th anniversary coinciding with it being awarded a third Michelin star, the first in the north of England to do so.

In 2024, Simon received an MBE showcasing his commitment to hyperlocal, seasonal ingredients.

Simon’s journey over two decades reflects not only his culinary excellence, but also his dedication to sustainability, showcased in the successful global expansion of his portfolio, ultimately solidifying his status as an influential figure in the culinary world.

Keziah Whittaker – 2:30pm.

While studying Law and Psychology at university, Keziah discovered her cooking style and developed a passion for Caribbean-fusion cuisine.Persuing this journey saw her crowned the inaugural Young MasterChef Champion in 2023.

Following her victory, Keziah has graduated and worked on numerous projects, including Pub in the Park, BBC‘s Young Reporter, BBC‘s The One Show, Getir for King's Coronation, and has recently collaborated with RATIONAL.

She currently works on her seasonal brunch events, cookbook, brand collaborations, and a range of seasonings scheduled to launch later this year.
