About Ramadan.
The Holy Month of Ramadan is a very spiritual month for the Muslim world.
The word Ramadan comes from the Arabic root ramiḍa or ar-ramaḍ, which means scorching heat or dryness.
During approx. 30 days Muslims will be fasting from sunrise to sunset.
The month of Ramadan is known for being the month of friendship, sharing, forgiveness, love and especially giving, as Kareem means ‘’generous’’ in Arabic. One of the important tasks of the days during Ramadan is ‘’Iftar’’ time which is breaking the Fast.
This special moment is not only about the meal, but also about gathering together with the beloved ones and also sharing with the less fortunate ones.
