RATIONAL continues to expand its production capacity in Landsberg, Germany.

RATIONAL AG laid the foundations for the extension of its site in Landsberg am Lech. With the expansion of the existing plant, the production capacity of the Bavarian company is set to increase again significantly over the coming years. At present RATIONAL employs about 1,900 people worldwide, of which about 900 work in Landsberg.

The manufacture of the RATIONAL combi-steamer, which is made exclusively in Landsberg, is notable for its excellent quality and top shipping service, characterised by streamlined operations and ideal, ergonomically designed workstations.

The existing halls are to be expanded by an area of 16,000 square metres. Around €35 million is being invested in buildings and systems. The Landsberg-based market leaderfor combi-steamers has thus created even better production conditions for achieving ongoing company growth.
