RATIONAL received the Best of Technology Award for its Digital Solutions. With its ConnectedCooking digital kitchen management system, the global market leader for thermal food preparation demonstrates how digitalization makes work in professional kitchens easier and more productive.

RATIONAL received the award for ConnectedCooking in the Process Management category of the Best of Technology Awards from WirtschaftsWoche, Germany's largest business magazine. Specifically, the award went to the ERP Management Interface, which enables data transfer between the ERP system and the two RATIONAL cooking systems iCombi Pro and iVario Pro via ConnectedCooking. This allows pre-stored cooking programs to be sent to networked RATIONAL appliances within seconds and across locations - saving time and ensuring uniform standards. The jury commented: "We were particularly impressed by the solution as it brings Production 4.0 to professional kitchens and creates significant added value through the integration of ERP systems. We are certain that this will significantly improve production processes in commercial kitchens." The ERP Management Interface is currently available in Germany and Austria, with other markets to follow.
