The foundations for the eating habits of future generations are being laid today. This is the approach of Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska, who is currently leading a reform of the national school nutrition. The aim is to reduce the rate of obesity among children under 18 by providing healthy and nutritious meals in educational and health institutions.
Factory kitchens are a key part of achieving this goal. In these centralised production facilities, high quality food is cooked, chilled and transported to educational institutions in the surrounding area.
