Digitalisation in the professional kitchen: 150,000 users rely on ConnectedCooking.

News – 2024-12-17

At the end of the year, RATIONAL reached the 150,000 user mark with its free ConnectedCooking digital kitchen management system. The world market leader in hot food preparation thus demonstrates that digitalisation makes work in professional kitchens easier and more productive.

“We are delighted that so many restaurateurs around the world trust ConnectedCooking,” says Theresa Felchner, Head of Product Management ConnectedCooking at RATIONAL. “For us, this is both motivation to make our digital offering even better and confirmation of the growing importance of digital solutions in professional kitchens.”

ConnectedCooking is the digital addition to the RATIONAL iCombi Pro and iVario Pro cooking systems and makes kitchen workflows faster, simpler and safer: As soon as the cooking systems are networked, users can access them at any time and from anywhere via PC, tablet or smartphone. This means that appliance details such as utilisation, cleaning status, energy usage and HACCP data are always at hand and the appliance software is up to date at all times thanks to automatic updates.

Businesses with several branches in particular also benefit from the automatic transfer of cooking programs: These can be easily created from the office and sent to networked cooking systems in all branches with a single click, ensuring uniform standards at all locations.
